“THE JOURNEY OF LIFE”
“Life is a journey, on the wheels of mirage, set on the streets of death, of which we are pathetic passengers” – Mr. Hko
The whole of life’s trip is on the wheels of mirage.
“Whatever we feel is carrying us through this life’s journey successfully, and giving us pleasures, desires and joy, are but a mirage; an illusion. They are not with us, they just tickle our fantasies, maybe for us to forget this perilous ride. With a blink, they dissipate into nothingness, and we are left, lonely and empty.”
Life’s trip is set on the streets of death.
“Imagine living with the idea of death. Is any human really, actually happy? Whatever we’ve come to know – our joys, what we cherish and adore, is bound to end. Yes, no matter how pleasant or joyful the ride of this journey is, the whole wheel is set on a fatal street.”
We are pathetic passengers in life’s journey
“As soon as there is birth, there is a prelude of death. Imagine how pathetic we are! We are placed on these wheels in this journey for just a hand-breadth of time, and even with this brevity of life, it is of full of sorrows. Indeed we are pathetic, perhaps you may egotistically decide to argue, but you argue, whiles life still takes it course.”
With this ride, indeed we undoubtedly need a whole lot of patience and compassion. Patience, as to understand each stage of the journey and not to get to the finish line (death) quickly, and Compassion, in order to at least mitigate the “iron and fire” nature of the journey for everyone.
